Yesterday, news broke that Disney was gearing up to make a new film from their recently acquired Fox Studios. Word was that they would be tackling the Planet of the Apes franchise which was previously and successfully rebooted by Matt Reeves. As the story broke, most outlets announced that the house of Mouse was once again preparing to reboot the franchise to give it a fresh start at its new home. Well, like meteorologists, entertainment reporters are often very wrong. Wes Ball, the man tapped with directing the new film took to Twitter today to set the record straight and let everyone know that the new film will continue the legacy of Cesar.
