Things have been a little quiet on the Hobbit front lately, but today we have two awesome new images from Peter Jackson’s THE HOBBIT: THE DESOLATION OF SMAUG.
First up is a new poster for the film that features Bilbo Baggins in the reflection of Smaug’s eye. Then, we’ve also got a new image from the film that features all of the Thirteen Dwarves heading down the rapids in barrels.

The second in a trilogy of films adapting the enduringly popular masterpiece The Hobbit, by J.R.R. Tolkien, The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug continues the adventure of the title character Bilbo Baggins (Martin Freeman) as he journeys with the Wizard Gandalf (Ian McKellen) and thirteen Dwarves, led by Thorin Oakenshield (Richard Armitage) on an epic quest to reclaim the lost Dwarf Kingdom of Erebor.
Superman is currently scheduled for release on July 11, 2025
The new series is set for a two-episode premiere, June 4 on Disney+.
