The new trailer for “Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time” has hit the web and it looks fantastic. From the team that brought you the “Pirates of the Caribbean” trilogy, Walt Disney Pictures and Jerry Bruckheimer Films presents a new epic action-adventure set in the mystical lands of Persia.
“Prince of Persia” stars a rogue prince (Jake Gyllenhaal) who reluctantly joins forces with a mysterious princess (Gemma Arterton) in order to safeguard an ancient dagger capable of releasing the Sands of Time — a gift from the gods that can reverse time and allow its possessor to conquer the world!
If you’re itching for more Persia, McFarlane Toys is set to produce and entire “Sands of Time” toy line that’ll allow fans of all ages to bring home all the excitement and adventure of the live-action movie. There will be a range of movie figures, battle horses, play sets, and even a collectible movie replica weapon all hitting retailers nationwide in conjunction with the movie’s release in May 2010.
