Let’s face it, the only Super hero branch that has yet to launch a successful, live action TV series, is the X-Men. Marvel and DC have done pretty much everything else, but the mutants have been a tough nut to crack thus far. Legion looks like it might be the first one to do it. The new preview gives us a fresh look at Dan Stevens as David Haller, either the world’s most powerful mutant, or a nutjob.
He’s backed up by a stellar cast that includes: Rachel Keller, Jean Smart, Katie Asleton, Jeremie Harris, Amber Midthunder, Bill Irwin, Katie Aselton, Jemaine Clement, and Aubrey Plaza.
Legion follows David Haller, a troubled young man who may be more than human. Diagnosed as schizophrenic, David has been in and out of psychiatric hospitals for years. But after a strange encounter with a fellow patient, he’s confronted with the possibility that the voices he hears and visions might be real. Legion debuts in early 2017 and is produced by FX Productions and Marvel Television.
