A new red-band TV spot just surfaced for Jason Reitman’s ‘Young Adult’, starring Charlize Theron and Patton Oswalt. Reitman has gotten tremendous critical acclaim for his previous works: “Thank you for Smoking” and “Up in the Air”, word is still out on how his newest project will go over. One thing is for sure, he seems to have definitely captured that ‘can’t go home again’ feeling that a lot of us have about going back to our hometowns for high school reunions.
In this clip, Mavis (Charlize Theron) gives Beth (Elizabeth Reaser) a hard time for spilling on her shirt.
Official Synopsis:
Academy Award winner Charlize Theron plays Mavis Gary, a writer of teen literature who returns to her small hometown to relive her glory days and attempt to reclaim her happily married high school sweetheart (Patrick Wilson). When returning home proves more difficult than she thought, Mavis forms an unusual bond with a former classmate (Patton Oswalt) who hasn’t quite gotten over high school either.
