the full trailer for the upcoming Netflix reboot of She-Ra – She-Ra and The Princesses of Power is out and it doesn’t look nearly as bad as we expected. The new show, which doesn’t appear to have any He-Man connection (as of yet) is keeping close to the original story, with Adora being raised as a soldier of Hordak before learning of her destiny and becoming a champion for good and light. It’s definitely got a pretty heavy “Steven Universe” vibe, but not nearly as heavy as the poster art has been leaning. It might not be a good fit for fans of the original series, but it could be just the thing for their kids.
Adora’s destiny turns out to be far greater than she could have ever imagined. As the legendary warrior princess, She-Ra, it’s up to her and a spirited group of rebel princesses to restore balance in Etheria by defending it from the place she once called home. Join The Rebellion November 16th when She-Ra and the Princesses of Power begins streaming on Netflix!
