I may not have loved every movie that’s starred Ben Stiller, he’s got a real gift to speak to people with his directing. I’ve considered myself a fan since I first saw Reality Bites. There was something in that film that resonated with audiences in their teens and early twenties. Now that I’m in my thirties, I’ve got a feeling that his newest film, the remake of the classic movie, The Secret Life Of Walter Mitty, will resonate with the whole generation of people out there who have lived and worked, but not really gone out and had their great life adventure. I just finished watching the new trailer and my only complaint is that I have to wait to see the rest of the movie on Christmas.
Official Synopsis:
Ben Stiller directs and stars in THE SECRET LIFE OF WALTER MITTY, James Thurber’s classic story of a day-dreamer who escapes his anonymous life by disappearing into a world of fantasies filled with heroism, romance and action. When his job along with that of his co-worker (Kristen Wiig) are threatened, Walter takes action in the real world embarking on a global journey that turns into an adventure more extraordinary than anything he could have ever imagined.
