New Sorcerer’s Apprentice Trailer Gives First Glimpse Of Dancing Brooms

AS weird as the idea sounded initially, it is looking like Disney’s “The Sorcerer’s Apprentice” is not going to suck. In fact, it might be one of the better popcorn flicks of the year. No one is happier to hear that than Jay Baruchel, who (until his role in Tropic Thunder) was pretty much only known to fans of the short lived “Freaks and Geeks.” Now he’s not only got a major hit on his hands this year with ”
How to Train Your Dragon”, but it looks like “The Sorcerer’s Apprentice” might cement him as one of the biggest box office draws of 2010.

This new, short trailer for the film is really just a showcase for the special effects, but it is well worth the watch. In fact, if you pay close attention, you’ll finally get to see the real proof that this movie is adapted from Fantasia. Ya, that’s right. Dancing brooms!
