Disney XD has been doing a great job of promoting their upcoming Star Wars animated series, Star Wars Rebels, especially since the new revelations that the cartoon will be directly tied to Star Wars Episode VII. Each week, they’ve been releasing a new animated short that introduces one of the show’s main characters. This new short, Not What You Think, introduces us to the youngest character on the team, Ezra Bridger.
In “Not What You Think,” a special Star Wars Rebels short, Ezra finds a downed TIE fighter on the plains of Lothal. The young rebel opens the ship’s hatch — pretending to help the ungrateful Imperial pilot — and leaves with a few souvenirs.
Scheduled to premiere in October 2014 as a one-hour special telecast on Disney Channel, Star Wars Rebels will be followed by a series on Disney XD channels around the world.
