The new Trailer For Michael Bay’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is out and… well, it’s out. If there’s one thing I’ll say for the trailer is that we are getting a lot more footage of the turtles, Splinter, and Shredder. On the other hand, we are also getting a much better sense of the overall quality of the dialogue in the film.
It seems like Bay is trying to walk the line between the comic sensibility of the cartoons and a gritty hyper realism. I’m still not convinced, but then again… I’m kind of a grumpy old man. What did you think?
Official Synopsis:
The city needs heroes. Darkness has settled over New York City as Shredder and his evil Foot Clan have an iron grip on everything from the police to the politicians. The future is grim until four unlikely outcast brothers rise from the sewers and discover their destiny as Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The Turtles must work with fearless reporter April and her wise-cracking cameraman Vern Fenwick to save the city and unravel Shredder’s diabolical plan.
