New Trailer For ‘Cosmopolis’ From David Cronenberg And Starring Robert Pattinson

Guess who’s still trying to get out of that Twilight vampire roll. You got it! It’s Robert Pattinson, this time he’s hooking up with David Cronenberg. That’s right the man behind films such as: The Fly, Videodrome, A History of Violence and Eastern Promises. They are teaming up for the adaptation of Don DeLillo’s novel. The film is about, wait for it… a young billionaire who pulls strings from within a high-tech limo. Well I’ll let IMDB tell you:

“Riding across Manhattan in a stretch limo in order to get a haircut, a 28-year-old billionaire asset manager’s day devolves into a odyssey with a cast of characters that start to tear his world apart.”

Not really sure where I stand on this film, it’s pretty much pulling me in all sorts of directions. For one thing Pattinson does nothing for me as an actor, but I really dig Cronenbergs work. Then again it’s Pattinson going to get a haircut, who by the way looks like he already had one. I will give credit to DC he got some good actors to wrap around R.Pat. The film also stars Juliette Binoche, Paul Giamatti, Mathieu Almaric, and Jay Baruchel. Check out the trailer and let us know what you think.
