While I appreciated a lot of the style in Gareth Edwards’ Godzilla film, it was woefully lacking in Godzilla for me. Meanwhile, Godzilla: Resurgence, the new kaiju film from Toho Studios appears to bring the king of all lizards back in a glorious and destructive fashion.
The new trailer from the Philippines also appears to reveal (though some people are considering this a spoiler), the big bad for the film. If you don’t want to know who that is yet, watch the second of the two videos. That one is missing the aforementioned spoiler scene. It really doesn’t matter which version you watch, they both look awesome!
