If you’ve seen Avengers: Infinity War, you are probably already starting to wonder how Ant-Man and The Wasp will fit into Avengers 4. We know the new movie takes place before the events of Infinity War (at least it starts that way). However, there are many people who are wondering if the exploration of the quantum realm in hopes of finding Janet Van Dyne will play a role in the next film.
For now, none of those questions are being answered, but we are getting a ton of new footage from the film including our first real footage of the Ghost and Goliath, along with a ton of new footage of Ant-Man and The Wasp in action together.
As with the first movie, Michael Pena looks like he’s going to be the real star of the film. If there’s one thing that gives me a little concern, it’s the seemingly out of place shot of a giant ant playing the drums.
Ant-Man and the Wasp opens in theaters on July 6th and stars Paul Rudd, Evangeline Lilly, Michael Peña, Walton Goggins, Bobby Cannavale, Judy Greer, Tip “T.I.” Harris, David Dastmalchian, Abby Ryder-Fortson, and Randall Park, with Michelle Pfeiffer, Laurence Fishburne, and Michael Douglas.
From the Marvel Cinematic Universe comes “Ant-Man and the Wasp,” a new chapter featuring heroes with the astonishing ability to shrink. In the aftermath of “Captain America: Civil War,” Scott Lang grapples with the consequences of his choices as both a Super Hero and a father. As he struggles to rebalance his home life with his responsibilities as Ant-Man, he’s confronted by Hope van Dyne and Dr. Hank Pym with an urgent new mission. Scott must once again put on the suit and learn to fight alongside the Wasp as the team works together to uncover secrets from the past.
