the new trailer is out for ‘Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets’ from Luc Besson and starring Cara Delevingne and Dane DeHaan. From everything we’ve seen so far, this is the most excited I’ve been about a Luc Besson film since The Fifth Element.
The new film, which is based off the famous french comic book, Valérian and Laureline from the 1960’s, tells the tale of a couple of human government agents who have to save the intergalactic hub of all alien societies before an unseen force destroys the city of Alpha.
Along with DeHaan and Delevigne, the film also stars Clive Owen, Rihanna, Ethan Hawke, John Goodman, Herbie Hancock, and Kris Wu.
Between Life, Alien: Covenant, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2. and ‘Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets’, this is turning into an epic year for space movies.
