With Powers taking up a lot of the Super Hero oxygen on the net today, Marvel and Netflix want to make sure you don’t forget that Daredevil is coming out.
The new trailer is actually very interesting. In some ways, it gives me my first real sense that this show might not be a disaster. It opens with Vincent D’nofrio’s Kingpin talking about how all he wants to do is make the city a better place and ends with Daredevil saying the same thing. In the middle, there’s a ton of new footage, including a lot of new focus on Kingpin. This is finally getting interesting.
Blinded as a young boy but imbued with extraordinary senses, Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) fights against injustice by day as a lawyer, and by night as the Super Hero “Daredevil” in modern day Hell’s Kitchen, New York City. Produced by Marvel Television and ABC Studios, with executive producers Steven S. DeKnight (Spartacus), Jeph Loeb (Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.) and Drew Goddard (Cabin In The Woods), the series also stars Rosario Dawson, Vincent D’Onofrio, Deborah Ann Woll and Elden Henson.
