It seems like this Cloak and Dagger series that Marvel’s been setting up at Freeform has been sitting for a while, but we now have a new look at the show and a premier date of June 7th. In the trailer, we get to see Tandy Bowen (Olivia Holt) and Tyrone Johnson (Aubrey Joseph) as their characters are set up as coming from completely different worlds, but they end up having powers that appear to be opposite sides of the same coin.
There’s not really a lot to get excited about in the trailer, but I’m hoping that a story trailer will follow in the next month or so. The show is definitely aiming hard at the teenage demo, if not the tweens. It’ll be interesting to see if they can put together a compelling enough story so that the show can draw a larger audience.
