World War Z is destined to be a hit. It has Brad Pitt in it and so you know it is going to do well in theaters. The question is… do you want to see another movie about the zombie Apocalypse or another film about zombies with the capacity to love.
OK, it sounds awful when I say it like that, but Warm Bodies looks like it could be kind of an awesome movie.
the movie stars Nicolas Hoult (Beast in X-Men First Class) as a zombie who has become smitten with a human (played by Teresa Palmer). AS their love develops, it also appears to reverse the effects of his zombism. Now she just has to get her dad (John Malkovich) to not kill them all before they can cure themselves.
A funny new twist on a classic love story, WARM BODIES is a poignant tale about the power of human connection. After a zombie epidemic, R (a highly unusual zombie) encounters Julie (a human survivor), and rescues her from a zombie attack. Julie sees that R is different from the other zombies, and as the two form a special relationship in their struggle for survival, R becomes increasingly more human — setting off an exciting, romantic, and often comical chain of events that begins to transform the other zombies and maybe even the whole lifeless world.
