There used to be a lot of rumors about David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson hating each other, but they both seem pretty excited to get back together for a new run on X-Files. It’s not like they don’t have anything else to keep them busy. Duchovny is currently starring on NBC’s Aquarius and Anderson is returning this summer for another season on NBC’s Hannibal.
Regardless of how they may or may not feel about each other, the script might have been good enough to make it worth it. Here’s what Duchovny said about it:
“I got the first script this morning,” Duchovny told Entertainment Weekly. “I just read it about an hour ago and I started crying reading the first page. It was just so strange to see the names on the page.”
