I think that we can all pretty much collectively rejoice at the fact that the live-action Akira film will probably never get made.
While we will never see Garret Hedlund as Kaneda, we can at least get a look at the concept art for the film. These drawings were created concept artist Sylvain Despretz who had worked on Gladiator, Alien Resurrection. They don’t give us too much information, but we can see some of the story elements as well as some of the “race bending” that they had in mind for the reboot.
