A lot of people were hoping that they’d be treated to a small teaser of Ryan Reynolds as the Green Lantern at New York Comic-Con, but instead they had to settle for getting to know the date of the first official “Green Lantern” trailer.
The actual film isn’t coming out until June 17th, 2011, but the first trailer will be hitting screens on November 19th with the theatrical release of “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part One.”
If you haven’t made it over to the official website of the film, here’s their official description of the movie:
In a universe as vast as it is mysterious, a small but powerful force has existed for centuries. Protectors of peace and justice, they are called the Green Lantern Corps. A brotherhood of warriors sworn to keep intergalactic order, each Green Lantern wears a ring that grants him superpowers. But when a new enemy called Parallax threatens to destroy the balance of power in the Universe, their fate and the fate of Earth lie in the hands of their newest recruit, the first human ever selected: Hal Jordan.
