NYCC ‘Justice League’ Trailer Is Most Upbeat Yet

If the new Justice League trailer wants to drive home any single point, it’s that Joss Whedon is in charge. The colors are bright, the heroes actually smile, and you can start to get the feeling that this movie is actually going to be fun.

To its credit, the trailer seems to be almost entirely made up of new footage that we haven’t seen before. It’s focuses heavily on the team building and why each of the heroes can’t handle it on their own. It also gives us our first footage of Clark Kent, even if it is probably just a dream sequence.

Justice League stars Ben Affleck, Gal Gadot, Jason Momoa, Ezra Miller, Ray Fisher, J.K. Simmons, and Henry Cavill and opens in theaters on November 17th.

Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.
