We’re getting our first peek at the set for Ewan McGregor’s upcoming Obi-Wan Kenobi Star Wars series on Disney+ thanks to a new report from The Daily Mail. While the report does give us some good details like the fact that the show is filming at a disused quarry in Little Marlow, Buckinghamshire, in the UK, that production should start ramping up in March, and there are some reports that the series could be in production for as many as three years, the reason for the news is that the new set is causing a bit of strife with the locals.
It turns out that, much like many of the locals who live near the Georgia set for The Walking Dead, there are big concerns when it comes to traffic, blocked access, lighting, and how the new production could affect local wildlife. We hope the locals work things out with Disney, but in the meantime, here are a bunch of set pics showing off what looks like a Mainstreet thoroughfare on what is probably Tatooine.
