Official images of the always lovely Scarlett Johansson as the Black Widow are now online, and it looks as if she’s traded in her straight blonde locks for red “Russian” curls.
From the looks of it, she will don the comic inspired costume very similar to that of her comics counterpart — everything from the cleavage inducing low neckline, the skin tight body suit, to the bullet firing wrist bracelets!
Along with posting the two official images, Entertainment Weekly’s PopWatch has also posted excerpts of the interview from their latest issue featuring Scarlett Johansson alongside RDJ and Mickey Rourke on the cover.
According to excerpts, Rourke’s character “creates his own battle-suit, which shoots devastating, whip-like beams” while incarcerated in a Russian prison. This ultimately puts to rest that Rourke will indeed play a mash-up villain of Crimson Dynamo and Whiplash. Additional, the report also mentions a potential love triangle between Johansson, Downey Jr. and Gwyneth Paltrow’s characters.
“The men want it to be, like, ‘Ooh, the girls are fighting over Tony,’ but it’s not as standard as that,” said Paltrow. “There’s a weird male catfight fantasy.”
