Right after its announcement and teaser screening at WonderCon, the official Green Lantern: First Flight website debuts. First Flight will be this summer’s most anticipated direct-to-DVD and Blu-Ray video of DC’s most beloved Emerald Guardian of sector 2814.
This will be Green Lantern’s first feature film. Fans who can’t wait for its release on July 28 should really check out Warner Premiere’s new website which features a behind-the scenes featurette as well as MySpace, Facebook and Twitter sign ups for future updates on all your Hal Jordan/Green Lantern goodness.
Green Lantern: First Flight expects to hit stores on DVD and Blu-Ray on July 28, 2009, and features the vocal talents of Christopher Meloni, Victor Garber, Tricia Helfer and Michael Madsen. The animated feature will be released as a two-disc set, with two featurettes, a downloadable digital copy, and two episodes of Justice League Unlimited hand-picked by Green Lantern: First Flight’s co-producer Bruce Timm.
Forget the Dark Knight, it’s the dawn of the Emerald Knight in 2009.
