M. Night Shyamalan is back with his latest, twisty film, Old. In the movie, a family finds a secluded beach for a relaxing day, but something is manipulating time and it looks like their entire lifetimes could be over by the time the day is out.
It was a really effective trailer from the veteran suspense director.
The film stars Gael Garcia Bernal, Vicky Krieps, Luca Faustino Rodriguez, Thomasin McKenzie, Alex Wolff, Rufus Sewell, Ken Leung, Nikki Amuka Bird, Abbey Lee, Aaron Pierre, Embeth Davidtz, Eliza Scanlen, Emun Elliott, and Kathleen Chalfant.
M. Night Shyamalan wrote the script, but it was based on Pierre Oscar Lévy‘s graphic novel Sandcastle. So, unless he changed the ending, you can go read about it now… but where is the fun in that?
This summer, visionary filmmaker M. Night Shyamalan unveils a chilling, mysterious new thriller about a family on a tropical holiday who discover that the secluded beach where they are relaxing for a few hours is somehow causing them to age rapidly… reducing their entire lives into a single day.
