‘Outside The Wire’ – First Trailer For Anthony Mackie Netflix Action Film

While Altered Carbon didn’t work out as well for The Falcon and The Winter Soldier star Anthony Mackie. It doesn’t mean that he’s done with Netflix. In fact, the streamer just dropped the first trailer to his upcoming film, Outside The Wire.

In the new film Mackie plays an android soldier, taking a rookie outside the wire and into the warzone for the first time. It’s a hunt for a doomsday device with the android aspect being a fairly clever story turn. Based on the trailer, it sounds like androids aren’t exactly loved by the human soldiers either, so you can be sure that the film will definitely focus on that. Along with Mackie, the film stars Pilou Asbaek, Michael Kelly , Damon Idris, Emily Beecham, and Enzo Cilenti.

Set in the future, Harp (Damson Idris), a drone pilot, is sent into a deadly militarized zone where he finds himself working for Leo (Anthony Mackie), an android officer, tasked to locate a doomsday device before the insurgents do. Outside the Wire is directed by Mikael Håfström.
