As you may have noticed… in any freaking publication or TV show over the last 24 hours, Lance Armstrong has admitted that he doped. That’s right, he’s being publicly skewered for doing something amazing… Making bicycling interesting.
Last night he came clean to Oprah, and I guess he’ll continue doing so in the second half of their interview this weekend. Now, it looks like Paramount and JJ Abram’s company, Bad Robot think there’s enough juice in the story to warrant an actual movie. To that end, they’ve just closed a deal for the movie rights of the book proposal for “Cycle Of Lies: The Fall Of Lance Armstrong.”
Juliet Macur, a sports reporter for The New York Times, is writing the book after over ten years of covering Armstrong in everything from his seven Tour DeFrance titles to his battle with cancer.
