Paramount Picture Grab’s DC’s ‘The Mighty’

Deadline broke the news this morning that Paramount Pictures has acquired the movie rights to the DC graphic novel ‘The Mighty’. Not to be confused by the late 90’s kid buddy flick.

If you’ve never read The Mighty, it is a slightly different version of the superhero story. In it, a human cop is chasing down a superhero bad guy.

It sounds a bit like Powers, the book by Brian Michael Bendis that will be coming to AMC as a TV show later this year.
