The first trailer for Paranorman hit with background music from the 1960’s song, Season Of The Witch. It gave a slightly creepy, but also campy and fun vibe to the film. Since then, most of the marketing has also focused on the dark humor, fun and relative family friendliness. The new trailer just came out a little while ago and they’ve tossed that and are giving a much darker tone to things. I’m not sure if they are worried that adults would shy away from it if it was too family friendly… I know I will see it either way!
