‘Peacemaker’ Drops New Trailer

HBO Max has just dropped the new trailer for their Suicide Squad spin-off, Peacemaker, set for release on the streaming network on January 13th. In the new series, we catch up with John Cena’s Peacemaker after the events of The Suicide Squad where he’s now working for the government as an assassin. Together with another masked vigilante called, Vigilante, his bald eagle name Eagley, and a team of government misfits, he has to save his world and work out his complicated relationship with his father, played by T2: Judgement Day’s Robert Patrick.

The show looks like it does a great job of maintaining the slightly goofy tone that James Gunn brought to both Suicide Squad and The Guardians of The Galaxy. We aren’t sure what role it plays in the ongoing DCEU, but it looks like a hell of a lot of fun.
