We know that the actor playing the new incarnation of Spider-Man is 19 year old Tom Holland. Well, he better get ready for some seriously inappropriate fan mail because he’ll be playing the role of Peter Parker at the tender age of 15.
The news came out in an interview with the reboot’s director, Jon Watts.
“There are only so many times you can kill Uncle Ben… I love the idea of making a coming-of-age high-school movie. We’re really going to see Peter Parker in high school and get deeper into that side of it. He’s just 15 now.”
The Watts’ helmed reboot doesn’t hit theaters until July of 2017, but we’ll get our first look at Holland in action as the newest webslinger when Captain America: Civil War hits theaters next year.
