Picard has been an absolute dream project for Star Trek fans on paper, but the reactions to the actual series have been mixed. Personally, it was kind of hard to care about the main character after the end of season 1. There’s such a thing as taking a Deus Ex Machina moment too seriously.

With it’s third and final season on the horizon, the series is looking to go out with a bang and that means putting the band back together. The Star Trek: Next Generation band that is. The new trailer not only features the characters you’ve come to know from Picard, but it also brings back  Jeri Ryan’s Seven of Nine along with  LeVar Burton’s Geordi La Forge, Michael Dorn’s Worf, Jonathan Frakes’ William Riker, Gates McFadden’s Dr. Beverly Crusher, and Marina Sirtis’ Deanna Troi. Where’s Wesley? We hope he shows up if for no other reason than to hear Picard say “Shut up Wesley” one last time.

Jean-Luc Picard (Patrick Stewart) and William Riker (Jonathan Frakes) board the U.S.S. Titan in the final season of Star Trek: Picard. Also starring LeVar Burton, Michael Dorn, Gates McFadden, Marina Sirtis, Brent Spiner, Jeri Ryan, and Michelle Hurd, the third and final season premieres on Feb. 16, 2023.
