A big part of me wonders why we really need a fifth Pirates of the Caribbean film, but I also wondered the same thing about the third and fourth chapters. I guess it isn’t so much about the need as much as the fact that we are willing to plunk down out $15 a seat to sit through it, especially in the international markets. Besides, if not for drunken pirate roles, what would keep Johnny Depp from making more horrible remakes with Tim Burton?
