PIXAR Launches Huge Viral Site For MONSTERS UNIVERSITY

PIXAR has gone more than a little bit over the top in creating the viral site for the upcoming Monsters University. They’ve created a complete website for the university in the film. The site, MonstersUniversity.com/edu tells the full history of the school as well as giving you a glimpse into the faculty, student body and campus life. They even went as far as to flesh out the entire Greek system for the school:

There’s an ID card log in that isn’t functional yet and mention that students in need of an ID card will be able to fill out a form this fall. If our guess is right, we are thinking it will probably start this weekend at NYCC.

Here’s the official synopsis for the film:

“Mike Wazowski and James P. Sullivan are an inseparable pair, but that wasn’t always the case. From the moment these two mismatched monsters met they couldn’t stand each other. Monsters University unlocks the door to how Mike and Sulley overcame their differences and became the best of friends.

Screaming with laughter and fun, Monsters University is directed by Dan Scanlon (Cars, Mater and the Ghostlight, Tracy) and produced by Kori Rae (Up, The Incredibles, Monsters Inc.). The film opens in U.S. theaters on June 21, 2013, and will be shown in Disney Digital 3D™ in select theaters.”

Monsters University comes to theaters June 21st, 2013 and stars John Goodman, Billy Crystal.
