This is not a Playstation 3 commercial but it should be if there were any justice in this world.
Created by 29-year-old first time director Ben McCambridge who has been an assistant editor cutting commercials, McCambridge admits to Kotaku that he’s been working on dozens of commercials and wanted to try making one himself.
“At the end of the day I made it because I’m a gamer, wrote it down, and liked the idea,” he says.
The video cost McCambridge $6,000 to make and is how he sees the PS3. A console where people regardless of age and gender can escape from the real world and into digital fantasy.
“Who knows, maybe Sony will see it an take an interest,” he says. “Imagine what the spot would look like with a budget!”
