Josh Gad has found his niche in the time of COVID 19 as the host of a series of movie reunions that have all gone viral online. He started by bringing together the cast and crew of Goonies, and then moved on for an epic Back to the Future reunion. Now, the voice of Olaf is going to bring the Fellowship back together with a Lord of the Rings reunion set to air on YouTube, May 31, at 9am PT/12pm ET.
To tease the new reunion, Gad brought Sean Astin, Sir Ian McKellen, Elijah Wood, Billy Boyd, Dominic Monaghan, and Orlando Bloom together to give us a taste of what to expect. If the format holds true from Gad’s previous specials, the show will probably feature several other cast members from the film and we wouldn’t be surprised if director Peter Jackson makes an appearance. check out the teaser below:
