While we’ve been busy celebrating the holidays and hoping that no one else will die this week, Cartoon Network snuck out a new sneak peek at an episode from Season 3 of Rick and Morty. There’s no real context for the footage that they released, but it gives us a hint at just how screwed up this season is going to be.
Previous sneak peeks have shown us Rick escaping from the inter dimensional prison where he is being held at the end of season 2. In this episode, we get a little bit of an idea of what’s been going on since then. Rick and Morty have been going on non-stop adventures, leaving Morty exhausted. The result seems to be a mission that goes so off the rails that they both share a severe emotional breakdown at where they’ve ended up.
This is really messed up. I can’t wait!
