‘R.I.P.D.’ To Shoot in September. Jeff Bridges To Join Ryan Reynolds

For a long time, the main characters for the RIPD movie were set to be played by Ryan Reynolds and Zach Galifinakis. It was reported a couple weeks ago that Zach was leaving the project, but now we have word that his roll will be filled by The Dude, Flynn, whatever you want to call him: Jeff Bridges.

For those of you who are unfamiliar with R.I.P.D., it is a comic book from Dark Horse. The movie will focus on Nick Cruz (Reynolds), a recently murdered cop who joins the “Rest In Peace Division” of the force to help track down his own murderer.

Jeff Bridges will be playing a veteran RIPD offcer named Roy.
