We know a decent amount about the upcoming Ahsoka Star Wars series on Disney+. We already know that Ahsoka Tano will be, once again, played by Rosario Dawson, and that Natasha Liu Bordizzo will be on-board as Sabine Wren, the Mandalorian team member from Rebels. Ray Stevenson, Ivanna Sakhno, and Mary Elizabeth Winstead are also on-board in unnamed roles.

It’s been heavily reported (and teased by the character’s appearance in The Mandalorian), that Ahsoka is still on her mission to find both Ezra Bridger and Grand Admiral Thrawn. It’s possible that Stevenson could be playing the role of Thrawn, but fans are really hoping to see another Star Wars voice-live casting with Lars Mikkelsen taking on the role in the same way that Katee Sackoff took on the role of Bo-Katan Kryze.

Now, here’s the rumor part. Making Star Wars is reporting that we will not only be getting an appearance by Hayden Christensen, but that Tom O’Connel is being fitted for a new Vader costume to play what is being called a significant part in the story.

Now, by the time Ahsoka takes place, Vader has been dead for several years, but that doesn’t mean we won’t see flashbacks between Anakin Skywalker and his padawan. This also gives a little more weight to fan theories around the logo for the show. In Star Wars Rebels, Ahsoka Tano fought Vader at the Sith temple on Malachor. In the fight, she was about to die when Ezra Bridger pulled her into the World Between Worlds, saving her life and giving her access to a place that exists between time and space.

The logo for Ahsoka uses the same design patterns as the pathways in the World Between Worlds. This has led many fans to believe that Tano will be using it to not only travel through time but also through space and possibly a Star Wars multiverse.
