Earlier this month, we announced that Tron 3 was going to start shooting this October in Vancouver. While Tron Legacy did lack a bit in substance, it was still a fun, and beautifully made film. Though there’s been no announcements about returning cast like Jeff Bridges, Garrett Hedlund, and Olivia Wilde, we do now have a possible title for the film.
Production Weekly has just tweeted out that the movie, which will shoot for five months, is set as Tron: Ascension.
This title makes sense, given that Tron Legacy ended with Hedlund and Wilde escaping back to the real world and Clu looking to bring his entire army over from the grid so that he could conquer the users.
