Ryan Reynolds Says “Deadpool” Movie Identical To The Comic Books

Ryan Reynolds who has recently been speaking with media outlets about the announcement of his upcoming “Deadpool” movie has insisted that the film will stay true to its flimsy-floppy comic book roots.

This is good news for Deadpool fans who weren’t all that happy with the slight “tweaks” Hollywood made to the famous Merc with a Mouth in last month’s “X-Men Origins: Wolverine” movie.

In an interview with HitFix, Reynolds spoked about how he’s “intimately involved” with the X-Men spin-off:

“It’s going to be just like the comic books. I’m gonna have a messed up face and you may see some flashbacks of Wade earlier in his life, but primarily what you see is what you get in the comics and that’s the goal. And there is no better place to draw material from then the comics which are incredible.”

Although a villain has yet to be named, Reynolds who will play an original superhero called Captain Excellent in the upcoming indie comedy “Paper Man,” has hinted to IGN that a villain may not be needed as Deadpool is is own worse enemy:

“The greatest villain in a Deadpool comic is Deadpool,” he told the site. “There’s a lot you can do there, but you’ve gotta ask, ‘Who’s the boss? Who’s the guy he’s going up against?’ But it’s breaking the fourth wall; it’s including all those things in a way that works, but it’s not nearly as hard as it sounds. It can really be done.”

Recently, Katee Sackhoff has been named as an actress auditioning for the role of Typhoid Mary for an unnamed Marvel Project. Despite Typhoid Mary being a rogues gallery of Daredevil, another Marvel property, there are speculations that she may appear as the villain and join Reynolds in the new Deadpool movie.
