Sam Worthington (“Terminator: Salvation,” “Avatar,” “Clash of the Titans”) who literally exploded this year has attached himself to yet another project, proving that he is quickly becoming one of the most demanded actors in Hollywood. According to Variety, Worthington will now star in the comic book adaption of “The Last Days Of American Crime.”
“The Last Days of American Crime,” is a bi-monthly miniseries created and written by critically acclaimed author Rick Remender (Punisher, Fear Agent, Strange Girl). By Radical Publishing, American Crime “tells the story of Graham Brick, a petty criminal unable to land a big score. In a grand scheme, Graham intends to steal one of the charging stations, skip the country and live off unlimited funds for the rest of his life. But the media has leaked news of the anti-crime signal one week before it was to go live… and now Graham and his team have just a few days to turn the heist of the century into the last crime in American history.”
The project is still very early in discussion with no announcement of a director yet. However, Remender had this to say about the upcoming project, “The people that they’re bringing in are all big A-list Hollywood people.”
Being a Rememnder fan and a growing fan of Worthington, this is one comic book adaptation I can’t wait to see!
