It’s been 14 years, but Mike Judge moronic duo Beavis and Butthead are making a comeback to the small screen on MTV. At the Panel moderated by Johnny Knoxville, we were reintroduced to the two special duos along with several clips of the new series.
There were footage from various episodes where the boys were inspired by Twilight and wanted to become werewolves so they could pick up women. Beavis and Butthead gets a job at a phone bank doing tech support. And the return Cornholio, where he meets a group of New Age Hippie Christians who confuse him as the second coming of Christ.
Aside from new material, there were also a few music video narrations, which has now expanded to covering TV shows and YouTube clips.
MTV has since released the “Holy Cornholio” and the Jersey Shore clip which you can watch below.
Overall, “Beavis and Butthead” is looking better than I remembered. The new animation is sharper and cleaner, while the stories and commentary are current and relevant. Honestly, I can’t wait for the show to make its triumphant return.
