In the first and last “How I Met Your Mother” panel at Comic-Con, fans were greeted by producers Carter Bays, Craig Thomas, and Pamela Fryman, along with actors Josh Radnor, Jason Segel, Cobie Smulders, Alyson Hannigan and the one and only Neil Patrick Harris.
The panel opened with a teaser for the new series which you can watch below, and went straight into Q&A. According to the producers, fans can expect answers to several questions they may have had throughout the years. They will do their best to fulfill them and the show will have closure and it end high on a high note
“This show has always been about hopefulness. It’s a valentine to friendship and love. This season will sum that all up in one package.”
As we already know, the final season is set to take place entirely over the weekend of Barney’s wedding. But it will feature various instances in time so it won’t all take place during that exact weekend. Fans can also expect one episode to take place entirely during one slap. There will also be a lot of moments about the mother, so fans will get to know her just like how they’ve known and loved the other characters on the show.
“We want to see Ted happy and the great moments when he meet this girl. You will get to know this girl.”
