Kite is a very famous and very controversial anime about young woman named Sawa who is taken in by a crooked detective employing homeless children to do his dirty work, after the murder of her parents. With her new training she works as a vigilante, seeking justice against targets given to her by the detective who continually manipulates and abuses her.
The film stars Samuel L. Jackson, India Eisley, Callan McAuliffe, Russel Savadier, Jaco Muller, Liam J. Stratton, and Keci Eatock.
The movie will get a DirecTV release on August 28th, followed by VOD and theaters on October 10th.
The new series is set for a two-episode premiere, June 4 on Disney+.
