Legends of Tomorrow is sort of the red headed step child of the CW DCverse. The show has a lot of promise, but has struggled to really find a footing in it’s first season, despite a solid cast and a reasonable basic storyline.
Now that they seem to have stopped Vandal Savage, their main reason for coming together, it’ll be interesting to see what the team gets up to in season 2. One big announcement from Comic Con is that they’ll be meeting up with the Justice Society of America and going up against the Legion of Doom!
This incarnation of the legion will be based heavily in the existing CW TV mythology. So, don’t go expecting Black Manta and Lex Luthor. Instead, you will be seeing: Malcolm Merlyn (John Barrowman), Damien Darhk (Neal McDonough), the Reverse-Flash (Matt Letscher), and Captain Cold (Wentworth Miller).
That list of actors is enough to give the show a second loo, but then on top of that we’ve got the addition of heroes Hourman and Vixen joining the team as well as Obsidian, Stargirl and Dr. Mid-Nite all factoring into the story.
