If you’ve ever wondered what would happen if one of the people behind Fargo was given a chance to do a show based on someone from The X-Men, you are in for a treat. FX unveiled the first teaser for Legion at Comic Con and it definitely looks like it is going to be one of the more weirdly fun new series on the network. One of the things that is really striking about the new series is that the perspective is coming from the main character, David Haller. So, when we begin the series, he’s not sure whether he’s one of the earth’s most powerful mutants or if he’s just schizophrenic.
Legion follows David Haller, a troubled young man who may be more than human. Diagnosed as schizophrenic, David has been in and out of psychiatric hospitals for years. But after a strange encounter with a fellow patient, he’s confronted with the possibility that the voices he hears and visions might be real. Legion debuts in early 2017 and is produced by FX Productions and Marvel Television.
