SDCC 2019 – ‘Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness’ Set For 2021

The news we’ve already gotten from the Hall H Marvel panel is enough for fans to dine on for months and we are only around halfway through sharing it all with you. The next movie announcement to come out of the panel is Doctor Strange 2, or as it’s now being called, ‘Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.’ The biggest news about the new film is that it will be a team-up, but not with Spider-Man as many fans were hoping. Benedict Cumberbatch will be teaming up with Elizabeth Olsen‘s Scarlet Witch on a mind-bending adventure through the multiverse.

Other than the May 7, 2021 release date, there wasn’t a lot of news about the film. However, given the name, it sounds like the multiverse may be more real than we’ve been led to believe. It’s also a safe bet that we might be seeing alternate reality versions of several other Marvel heroes throughout the film.
