One of the panels to make waves today was the HBO panel for the His Dark Materials, the upcoming series based on the Phillip Pullman novels. You can tell from the quality of the effects in the trailer that HBO is sparing no expense on the new series which stars Dafne Keen as Lyra Belacqua, Ruth Wilson as Marisa Coulter, James McAvoy as Lord Asriel, Clarke Peters as The Master/Dr. Carne, and Lin-Manuel Miranda as Lee Scoresby.
With hopes that the new series will fill the void left by Game Of Thrones (or at least fill it until the prequels air), His Dark Materials is set to air sometime this fall.

As she journeys through the worlds, including our own, Lyra meets a determined and courageous boy called Will.
