The Single most anticipated trailer of Comic Con dropped just a little while ago and it is none other than Ryan Coogler’s Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. The trailer gives fans a lot of what they were looking for. We get a peek into how Wakanda is dealing with losing their king and we even get a look at what might be his next generation being born. We also get a very solid look at the film’s antagonist, Namor The Submariner (Tenoch Huerta).
It looks like the previously leaked promo images were correct and Namor’s people will have costumes that are heavily inspired by the Aztec kingdom. It also appears that some of them are blue. Between the ceremonial attire and the skin color, we expect some critics to draw a comparison to the alien species from the Avatar films. Either way, the trailer sets up an epic battle between Wakanda and Namor’s kingdom, but who is really pulling the strings? Our money is on Dr. Doom.
Along with Huerta, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever stars Queen Ramonda (Angela Bassett), Shuri (Letitia Wright), M’Baku (Winston Duke), Okoye (Danai Gurira), War Dog Nakia (Lupita Nyong’o), and Everett Ross (Martin Freeman).
